DoE – Department of Education – Higher Education and Training SA

 

Department of EducationCPMD is provisionally registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training as a Private Further Education and Training College (FETC). The approved qualifications include:

  • The National Certificate: Local Government and Accounting
  • Further Education and Training Certificate: Real Estate

AAT SA – Association of Accounting Technicians (South Africa)

 

AAT SAAAT South Africa, AAT(SA), is a partnership between the South African Institute of Charted Accountants (SAICA) and the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) developed to improve service delivery, develop skills for business and the economy, and provide personal development opportunities for individuals. AAT(SA) is committed to advance, facilitate and regulate the education, training and development of accounting technicians in South Africa. The AAT is UK-based and offers an internationally recognised certificate. It is one of the world’s leading membership organisations for accounting professionals – with over 120,000 members – and has been providing competence-based accounting qualifications in Central Southern Africa for 20 years. The AAT qualification package comprises both accounting theory and a practical components, and allows learners to develop and apply their skills in their own work environment. It is based on occupational standards that have been adopted by the Eastern Central and Southern Africa Federation of Accountants (ECSAFA) and accredited to the SAQA National Quality Framework.

Services Seta - Sector Education and Training Authority

 

Services SetaSector Education and Training Authorities (SETA's) have been established in terms of the Skills Development Act and are responsible for disbursement of the training levies payable by all employers. CPMD has been accredited as a training provider to offer relevant programmes where organisations will be eligible to claim money’s back for training presented to them. Services SETA’s purpose is to ensure training:

  • Is provided subject to validation and quality assurance;
  • Meets agreed standards within a national framework;
  • Ensures that new entrants to the labour market are adequately trained, and;
  • Acknowledges and enhances the skills of the current work force.

This will be achieved through the SETA forming partnerships with its stakeholders and role-players – including relationships with training providers such as CPMD.

FASSET – Seta for Finance, Accounting, Management Consulting and other Financial Services

 

FASSETFASSET is the Sector Education and Training Authority (Seta) for Finance, Accounting, Management Consulting and other Financial Services.
Some of the functions of FASSET include (inter alia):

 

 

  • To propose education and training standards and qualifications to bodies registered with SAQA and be responsible for developing education and training standards;
  • Accredit providers, assessors and moderators of education and training in this sector;
  • Assure the quality of education and training in this sector without itself being a provider of education and training;
  • Analyse and prioritise education and training needs within this sector and develop skills development strategies to address identified priorities;

CPMD has been accredited by FASSET to offer relevant programmes that fall within the finance, accounting and management ambit, prepared and presented in line with the SAQA’s national quality framework.

FETC Real Estate – Further Education and Training Certificate in Real Estate

 

FETCThis is a level 4 qualification accredited by Services SETA and The EAAB (Estate Agents Affairs Board). CPMD is accredited by both bodies to conduct the FETC Real Estate level 4 programme.
The introduction of the National Qualifications Framework by the EAAB, and publication of the Study Guide for the Professional Estate Agent: NQF Level 4, represent a significance in education and training as well as the professionalisation of all estate agents. CPMD offers tuition based on the curriculum set by the EAAB and Services Seta, to ensure Estate Agents qualify easily and successfully.

CPMD is also an accredited RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) centre and service provider for agents who are already qualified, but require a POE (Portfolio of Evidence) to prove legitimacy in the industry. All existing agents are required to register for RPL by the end of December 2011.

IMM Graduate School of Marketing

 

IMM CPMD has applied to offer Marketing Programmes Accredited by IMM and the registration is currently pending. IMM promotes the importance of marketing as a career and in business. The organisation aspires to provide quality marketing skills, knowledge and competence to learners. IMM is registered with the DoE and all qualifications offered are SAQA registered.
IMM GSM qualifications are recognized by businesses striving for marketing excellence. It therefore stands to reason that a relevant marketing qualification from the IMM GSM positions its graduates ahead of job applicants and is respected by both the business community and by reputable recruitment organizations. Some IMM GSM qualifications are also internationally recognized.

FETC: EAAB

 

EAABCPMD is a registered and Accredited Training Provider with the Estate Agents Affairs Board of South Africa. The accreditation extends to the following: Recognition of Prior Learning assessment centre in respect of the Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC): Real Estate NQF Level 4 (SAQA QUAL ID 59097). The EAAB serves as a Regulatory Body governing the South African Real Estate Industry.
