This is an introductory course targeted at new entrants into the industry.  The content of the programme is as follows:

 

Purpose of IRE: INTRODUCTION TO REAL ESTATE

The purpose of this course is to provide delegates with an overview of the mechanics of the real estate industry.

 

After completing this course, delegates will be able to:

  • Understand various concepts and definitions relevant to the real estate market in South Africa
  • Analyse the South African property market
  • Analyse trends in the South African property market
  • Understand the legal environment in South Africa
  • Understand the general principles of immovable property law
  • Understand the general principles of contract law
